History
Mr. Tony Falbo started out in the 1960s manufacturing apartment intercom and related systems in Toronto and soon expanded his business to include fire alarm systems. The company, known as Mirtone, grew to become the 2nd largest fire alarm manufacturer in Canada, before being purchased by Edwards (now GE).
In over 17 years of double digit annual growth, The Mircom Group has built their reputation and success upon quality manufacturing and market-leading competitive value. Today, the company stands alone as the largest independent fire alarm manufacturer in North America.

As the Mircom Group of Companies approaches its 20th anniversary, we are proud of our dramatic growth in the fire, life safety and communications industry. To achieve this growth Mircom has capitalized on select opportunities including new product launches, several discrete acquisitions, and exciting forays into new geographic markets.
As part of our ongoing effort to expand our offering and presence across North America, Mircom has opened several Canadian Branches, most recently in Victoria, British Columbia, London, Ontario and Quebec City, Quebec and we continue to scope new branch opportunities in significant Canadian markets.
