United Export, more commonly known as UEC, started business in 1939 as a traditional export company (representing North American manufacturers in overseas markets). Early in the 1960's the company had one product and one customer. Today, nearly 70 years later, the company exports a myriad of fire fighting and fire protection products to over 200 customers, in 75 different foreign markets. Current fire protection product lines include monitors, fire hoses, nozzles, fire extinguishers, and fire hydrants. Virtually all products are UL listed and FM approved.

The Mircom Group of Companies, has completed the acquisition in 2010 of the business and operating assets of United Export, a distributor of a complete line of fire fighting and fire protection products. United Export will join the Mircom Group of Companies' international division led by Victor Sebben, Vice President of International Operations. Mircom is further pleased to advise that Daniel C. Pease is continuing in his capacity as Vice President, UEC as part of the acquisition.
